Irumudi movie name is not justified to this kind of story.
It’s not spiritual or any bhakti kind of movie. It’s a regular mass template movie with some here and there scenes of Ayyappa swami mala.
it’s a father and daughter story, Which if done in a nice way without those complicated teacher, villain, similar old style political involvement, and mass scenes, this could have been the all time grosser of telugu film industry of this year.
Instead they choose to make it a mass commercial movie.
some even comparing with Maliggapuram, the malayalam movie based on Lord Ayyappa.
See I want to make it very clear, there’s no comparision between this two movies. Maliggapuram is on very higher different level spiritually and emotionally.
If that story is taken in this telugu movie and named as Irumudi, then may be the name could have been justified, but this one should be named as nanna, high school, or manamma etc.
I didn’t liked this at all. Just for this I’m giving this 4 stars out of 10, only because of some good moments/acting by the father daughter duo.
Raviteja is actor, my favourite since Vikramarkudu.
But somehow, I just don’t like these so called brutal stories like Maharaja or this Irumudi movie, which are completely impractical.
See it’s just my personal opinion, I bought the ticket and as a fan of Ravi Teja’s acting, attitude and energy, I’ve all the right to say that I am dissatisfied with this story.
