The biggest lesson I’ve learnt from the book ‘The Richest man in Babylon’

A part of all I earn is mine to Keep.
-The Lesson

Those who’re reading this blog, I’m assuming that you’re earning member of your family, or soon you’ll join a job or start a business.

But the biggest issue is in 2026, after getting the salary credited in your account, you start paying for the bills. The regular Indian middle class mindest.

I also used to do like that.

And within few hours, 80-90% or more of your salary would have been gone!

So instead, this book suggests saving the 10% of whatever you earn to save aside.

You can save it in a bank account, or for being safe side, you do a fixed deposit or invest in a liquid mutual fund, which will make hindrances if you want to spend the money instantly, which is almost possible if you keep it in your bank account.

If you want to read the complete book of 10+ stories of different vendors and citizens of the Babylonian city and their story with money or wealth you can buy the book below from Amazon and learn something new!

All the best.
