Mirai, a mythical story of Ashok and his 9 books, which I’ve not read and heard of before, promoted as a visual wonder by the makers of the film, expecially the producer the film T.G Viswa Prasad garu during his interviews in various youtube channels.
So how’s the movie as per my personal opinion?
No doubt, comparing other movies those were released in this quarter of the year, this is good. actually very good.
But the one place where I felt cheated was the use of AI to show some of the shots as CGI, where actually those were generated with AI. I would be happier to give more rating and praise, if they would have achieved it with more personal CGI and VGX instead of using artificial intelligence, as the name suggest it’s artificial, not human.

The movies like Hanuman and it’s environment with the same actor, the movie Mahavatar Narasimha with no human cast looks stunning as it’s not AI, that’s used in the movie, it’s a very big manual CGI effort to achieve a shot to show it as a real natural scene of the story.
But makers made a big mistake in that part. Even wherever I was watching those type of scenes, I saw a ‘CGI’ named text in the bottom left corner of the screen which was deviating me from the story and world of the film.
As per times of India, the budget of the movie is rs.60 crore. But where they used those budget? AI tools? really?
Disappointing as a creative designer/video editor, who use different AI tools like Chat GPT, Adobe Firefly, Kling AI and Midjourney, doesn’t like the visuals of the movie to the level of other movies mentioned in this article.

They should decrease the ticket prices of the movie, if AI is used or the shots achieved from AI are directly used in the movie. It’s a lazy task I think, and any one who knows decent editing knowledge and storytelling, can also do the same.
Then what makes the art of film making different & special? isn’t it a personal effort? the real human effort?
You can get inspired by AI, but directly using the AI shots in the movie? really? I listened the producer of the movie Mr. Vishwa Prasad garu saying in an interview is that using AI scenes is also a part of CGI. Really? I don’t agree with his this comment.
But if you are someone, who doesn’t care them at all, just a good time pass with your friends and family, you can definitely go and watch this movie.
