I totally agree with Mr Murthy, Even I think that 70 Hours is very little.
I want to put it this way.
According to me, work hours are not that you work for a salary in any organisation. He meant that you have to work harder and strive for the growth of the country.
It can be anything from learning new skills to exploring new dynamics of your work to networking, to putting effort to be the best in your industry not just for a particular 9-hour work schedule, it’s a continuous process.
Every big achiever has given their best and a lot of effort to come to the place that they have achieved till today.
Personally, I work around 84 hours a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. I work for myself, I work for my personal growth, which is proportionally related to the growth of our country.
Let me share my schedule here, in the 24 hours, I give strict 8 hours for my sleep, which is necessary, for my mental and physical health.
As a freelancer, I wake up at 5, and after having a bath, meditation, breakfast and all, at 7 I begin my work. till 1 I do my work along with my office work, then I go to lunch till 2. My professional work for the company I work for ends at 5 or 6, it depends upon the workload.
After that I take a rest of 1 hour to go out, or chill etc, and then I eat my dinner at 7, and then I sit for my work till 9, then I go to bed.
So if we make a sum of all this I work around12 hours a day, i.e 84 hours a week including Saturday and Sunday.
