Have you realised? Consciously or unconsciously we go to war with our lives, ourselves, our family, friends, and relatives every single day. Are you aware of it? Have you remembered your goal? or at least do you have any goal in mind that is really important for you? Are you thinking about it? Are you making that much effort? Ask yourself. Get ready. Set a deadline. Plan it. Work like hell. Achieve it at any cost.

I have shut one of my startup’s Ancestors.co.in a custom-designed cloth store like Bewakoof. The lesson I learnt here is to Keep exploring new opportunities, Focus on your core, and Calculate the Capex and Opex while starting a business. Have all the necessary documents and legal clearances available. Don’t go for the traditional business model while starting a new one, E-commerce is better but product innovation, and innovation in marketing should be the prime prior requirement.

I’ve grown my own design business. And it’s not a one-way solution. Geography plays a great role in estimating and scaling your design business. Understand your target audience and the geography they are living in. Research the competition there, and tune your offerings according to it. In the beginning, you have to overdeliver and underprice your offerings, until your brand is well established and you are full of projects in your hands that you can afford more.
