No it’s not computers, sports, or even involves any books either.
It’s Civic Sense.
India’s goal of becoming a developed nation is quite possible with this single solution.
Introduce Civic Sense as a common, primary subject for each standard be it 1st standard or last semester of any college degree.
if someone fails to clear this paper, then their remaining papers should automatically be disqualified from being evaluated.
This kind of evaluation system already exists in India! For example, in UPSC civil services exam, in prelims when a student fails to clear the CSAT their Paper 1 or GS is not evaluated and in mains when they fail to clear the languages exam, their remaining papers doesn’t get evaluated at all.
But why civic sense?
Majority schemes of Government of India are spent for this cause only.
Japan and South Korea like countries are developed nations not because they’re big economies, big military or financial power, but because their civic sense of self responsibility towards the society.
The individual contribution of every single citizen matters.
Crowded places everywhere, be it temples, public transport systems, employment, garbage everywhere, uncleanliness in the streets, political instability, corruption in citizens, no mutual respect among communities and culture and many such reasons are the primary causes for the backwardness of India.
While content creators making reels on whether their white shoe shocks gets dirty if they walk barefoot in the streets or Japan and getting to a conclusion that it doesn’t get dirty, think once, can we even think to walk without footwear in the streets of India? Especially the cities?
By damaging nature, destroying natural resources of energy, water and air, destroying forests, cutting trees, mining mountains, polluting rivers with industrial waste or sewage drains, we’re dreaming of becoming a developed nations.
While soldiers or big rank army officers boast about their significant achievements in the army or special forces but can’t do anything to save those girls in the border areas of North East and Bengal when they’re getting dragged out of their home and get raped infront of their families by illegal aliens of other countries or criminals of this country, and the whole system stays silent, is when India gets derailed from the track of development.
When in the so called democracy when people sell their votes just merely rs.2000 or rs.5000 notes and fail a former educated bureaucrats or educationists to win some criminal recorded politician is when India gets derailed from the real path of development.
If you want to keep dreaming of developed India by 2047 it’s only possible with civic sense in every citizen of this country, unless or until it’s a dream till the eternity.
